Appeals
Appeals
The denial of a request for an immigration benefit is understandably devastating, but it may not be the end of your journey to obtain status in the United States. If you have already been denied in your request for an immigration benefit, either with USCIS or in Immigration Court, we may be able to assist you in your appeal. Appeals usually have filing deadlines, so contact us as soon as you receive your denial notice so that we can evaluate your case.
Federal Litigation
In certain situations, you may be able to sue an immigration agency in federal court to get a desired result. Federal litigation is available, for example, if your appeal to the BIA has been denied, if your application for citizenship has been denied, or if your application has been pending for an unreasonable period of time without being adjudicated. Federal litigation is also available in other limited circumstances. If you think you are eligible to sue an immigration agency, we may be able to help you in your federal litigation. These lawsuits often have filing deadlines, so contact us as soon as you think you qualify for federal litigation so we can evaluate your case.
